Sebenarnya agak susah juga menulis tentang topik yang satu ini, namun karena saya sudah diambang batas kesabaran sebagai SONE mkaka saya memutuskan untuk membawa topik ini. Belum lama ini, mereka kembali mengeluarkan lagu berjudul "Best friend Forever". Awalnya saat saya mendengar gosip tentang kemiripan lagu itu dengan salah satu lagu SNSD, saya tak ambil pusing. Namun secara tak sengaja kemarin saya mendengar lagu itu. Memang tak sepenuhnya lagu itu menjiplak, namun begitu sampai di reff, saya langsung mengenal alunan nada yang saya sering kali dengar selama 2 tahun ini. Telinga saya tak bisa dibohongi, itu adalah nada dari lagu "Kissing You"-nya SNSD. Walaupun agak terlambat, namun kemarin adalah hari bahagia untuk member SNSD sunny. Ia merayakan ulang tahunnya yang ke-23 atau24 jika menggunakan perhitungan korea. Gadis yang merubah tatanan rambutnya sejak rilisnya lagu the boys, dikenal dengan nama aegyo queen.  Saat ini sunny sedang disibukkan dengan musikalnya bersama super junior kyuhyun dan juga reality show invicible youth season 2 bersama sesama member SNSD Hyoyeon. Ia juga didaulat untuk menjadi MC dalam acara Music Island.

Dengan padatnya jadwal, ia mengaku sangat sulit untuk beremu orangtuanya terutama sang ayah. Sang ayah yang adalah kakak kandung dari Lee Soo Man, pemilik agensi SM, sering pergi keluar negeri.

Community portal website DC Inside held a survey asking which girl group maknae (youngest member) is the perfect mascot. A total of 6,297 votes were made by netizens.

Girls' Generation's Seohyun claimed the top spot with an overwhelming 3,466 votes (55%). Though Seohyun debuted with a pure, innocent image, many fans are saying she’s now grown to have sexy and elegant qualities as well. She was chosen as the perfect mascot for Girls’ Generation because she embodies the group’s maturation over time.

Right behind Seohyun was Miss A‘s Suzy with 895 votes (14.2%). Suzy has been spreading the name “miss A” with her work in the drama and film industry on top of her activities with the 4-member group.

In third place came f(x)'s Krystal with 355 votes (5.6%). Krystal has been representing f(x) since before their debut in commercials, and the fact that she’s the younger sister of Jessica from Girls’ Generation created a lot of buzz for the group initially. Her popularity has been only growing due to her pretty face and easy-going personality.

Sooyoung and Seohyun will soon be releasing drama OSTs of their own.

Sooyoung will be singing an OST track in collaboration with Oohlala Session for the MBC weekend drama “Feast Of The Gods”. The release of the song will be confirmed at a later date. This will be Sooyoung’s second OST after her duet with Yuri for “Working Mom” in 2008.

Seohyun will be singing the OST for Yuri’s drama, SBS’s “Fashion King”. The song title is unknown at this time, but it is confirmed for release on April 16th. This will be her second OST, the first being “It’s Okay Even If It Hurts” for the 2010 MBC drama “Kim Soo Ro”.

These future releases come after Taeyeon’s OST  "Missing You Like Crazy" for the MBC drama “The King 2 Hearts” and Tiffany’s OST “Because It's You” for Yoona’s drama “Love Rain”.

Taeyeon’s OST has done well on the charts, topping the Melon music chart since its release. Tiffany has also received a lot of praise from fans for her soulful and emotional song.

With so many OST releases for Girls’ Generation lately, fans have been jokingly saying, “Right now it’s OST Generation!”
